This time critical project included removal and disposal of existing fittings, fitting out to newly created room layouts, state of art technology for mechanical and electrical engineering including enabling works for air handling unit, and hygienic wall and floor finishes.
To assist the building operations with removal of debris and delivery of new materials, an external goods lift was installed to the front elevation of the building taking temporary access through a full storey window.
Key to the success of the project was the installation of mechanical ventilation as part of enabling works for ITU/HDU ward on the 6th floor above.
The construction area shared space with operational hospital premises on the same floor, and the client’s needs and requirements were constantly considered throughout the project duration.
