The company has been involved in new build, alteration and refurbishment of school premises for many years. To cater for the needs of the client and avoid the disruption to teaching, often the company is asked to work during holiday periods when the schools are closed. This offers a very limited time scale to complete works.

The company is open to this challenge and has introduced phased programmes where complex projects are managed in discrete stages.

In the case of new build premises, as an extension to an existing building, the company minimises the disruption by fully separating the working area from the operational school facilities including playground and car parks, by the use of hoardings and if possible, a separate delivery entrance.

Working in close proximity to children, the company’s policy is for all personnel to carry current DBS certification.
