Scope of Work: Replacing upvc windows and external doors, Velux roof lights, soffits, fascias and rainwater goods to a number of apartment blocks owned and managed by the Guinness Trust.
It was important to have a programme of phased works so that the residents of Guinness Hermitage would encounter minimal inconvenience. Regular meetings were held with the residents, as stakeholders, and the management team, so that liaison and information could be maximised.
The critical path works were focussed on the replacement of windows because these works directly affected the comfort of the residents especially during the end of winter/early spring months. It was therefore important to complete such works on the same day.
Careful and sensitive site management was of paramount importance in order to protect the client and leave the residents comforted.
